I've arrived and am settled!

We arrived to town ahead of schedule on Saturday, even with an hour for lunch and one gas stop. Traffic was decent, too. The heat is almost unbearable. When Chad and I arrived to the dorm, it was quite stuffy. Luckily I brought a couple fans with and that moved the air around. Thankfully the dorm does have air conditioning and was turned on Sunday. Even though it's an old building it at least has that! After one trip to Wal-mart, and Target....and a return trip to each to return items, along with a stop at Office Max, my room is "home" for now. It will do for the next 3 1/2 months at least! I even got an office chair with back massagers! That will definately come in handy during long study sessions.
Class started this morning, with orientation, paper work, introductions, paper work, lunch, paper work! Well, you get the idea! My first "real" day of class is Wednesday, with an eight a.m. start time! Class will run from 8 a.m. to noon, and 4 p.m. to 6p.m. Pray for me! I'm excited to get started and glad to have met other students.
Chad is returning home tomorrow. I will take him to the airport in the morning. I won't see him until September 2nd, which is our 5th year wedding anniversary! I don't think it's fully hit either of us yet that we will be separated, though I'm sure it will hit me when I drop him off at the airport.
