First night on night shift....

I was a busy night and full moon. That's always a fun combination. Of the four nurses working in CVICU, we each got an admission. My patient headed to surgery in the middle of the night. Of course, they returned at 6am, just in time for the last hour rush. I got a very warm reception from my coworkers. Two more nights, then off until Sunday. Hope I sleep well today. I think I will need Chad to get the water fountain out of the attic to use during the day while I'm sleeping. I've used it in the past and it's helped block out the noise of the normal people......

Later, Jennie

Sounds like your night was busy and fast. Very inconsiderate of surgery to send your patient back at such a busy time.... So, if you got an admission, did you already have a patient? I rather forgot about the full moon but do watch it when working. Love you, Mom
