It's sinking in.....

......how difficult this was going to be. Don't get me wrong, I never thought it would be a cake walk or easy by any means. I knew I'd be putting in 60 to 70 in between class time and studying. But I guess I never realized the demands of it and exactly what 60 to 70 hours actually entails! I don't know how I finished by bachelor's degree, taking 6 to 7 credits while working full-time. At least I can fully concentrate on school and not have work along with the high demand of class work. Though so far, I've enjoyed all the classes, even though the two hour lectures sometimes get long and I feel like I'm doing the church nod......I picked up some chocolate covered espresso beans yesterday and they were helpful for the 4-6pm class tonight. The rest of the night will be filled with reviewing the lectures from today and reviewing notes for study group in the morning. We are meeting at 9am tomorrow....though I'm thinking an afternoon meeting would be better to allow more time to review the notes from the prior lecture. I don't want to be a complete dummy during study group!

I am excited to drive home this Friday for a long weekend. This is about the longest I've been away from Chad.....I'm not looking forward to the time it will be almost a month before we see each other. I'm hoping that he will be able to arrange for travel layovers while he's on the road for work so we can spend some time together.....December can't come soon enough some days!

Ok, time to review pharmacology and anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology notes and lectures.

Until next time....

Hey Jennie,

I started TCU last week and know what you are going through. There is just so much material to learn that it does seem overwhelming at times. We are covering alot of ground very quickly but the instructors here are great. I was accepted to TWU and TCU but obviously i chose TCU. I have a good friend that just finished his first year at TWU and is now gone to clinicals. This year will pass by fast. Good luck to you and keep your eye on your target! I will continue to read your blog to see how it is going over there.
