What are you doing........

for the next 12 days? Is it as exciting as my plan of action? Just in case you are wondering, I should be a half an hour from home on my way back from school in twelve days. Between now and then, I will be studying more than I would like to. I have 3 comprehensive finals between now and The 15th of December. It will be interesting. I have not had a comprehensive final in quite some time.....but it will definately test my knowledge, or lack of. I'm sharing a picture of the stack of notes I will be reviewing in the days to come. Looks like fun, huh?
I am also sharing a picture of a study tool my sweet niece, Anna, picked out and mailed to me. It lights up and everything! I even took it to class on Wednesday and was the envy of everyone! You should have hear the "oooohs and ahhhh's"!

I took a 25mg dose of benadryl last night...it took me awhile to fall asleep, but once I did I slept well. It felt so good, at least until my alarm went off at 4:03am.... Seems I forgot to turn it off from Friday morning, when I got up early to study before the A and P exam. I may take another tonight just to catch up on some beauty rest and allow me some good study time tomorrow.

I finished up some Christmas shopping today. I think I'm done.....I had wanted to start wrapping presents when I was home for Thanksgiving, but was too busy relaxing. So I will need to wrap up gifts and pack them up when I get home. Did I mention that I'm returning home in 12 days? I got in and out of the stores by 1pm, so it wasn't too busy. It's hard to believe it's December as it was in the 80's today. Yep, 80+ degrees, in December. Not like the Wisconsin winters I experienced growing up. I kind of like the lack of snow! My car thermometer actually read 93 degrees...but I have a hard time believing that!

My plan for tomorrow is to wake up and head to Panera Bread around 8am, eat breakfast while I look through the sales flyers, then study, study, study while drinking too much coffee. I haven't been there in awhile, so it will be nice to spend a morning there.

Ok, need to head to the cafeteria for supper and study the rest of the night.

HHHMMM!! So you bought some gift cards and a book? I wonder whose name you have, and what they're getting...:) My MIL asked what I wanted for xmas this year and it was hard to think of something. It's not that she wouldn't be able to pick out good work clothes, but I just didn't want to risk it. So I think that I will have some gift cards waiting for me on that night...but I won't complain about that!

That's a cool pen Anna sent to you. I think I can tell who HER favorite aunt is....!grin! She's even making sure that you have a chair at their table.

We're watching the Wizard of Oz right now. Just remember the phrase, "there's no place like home, there's no place like home." Oh that's right, home is Arkansas, not Kansas.

You can do 12 days, good luck studying, and talk to you later. Oh, and don't let Laura convince you to make your new gift into a white elephant.

There's a mental health clinic on the same floor as my office. Atleast once a month the drug companies give the whole office a nice lunch and a bunch of samples. And we're talking very nice lunches. Usually enough for two days of lunch. Just something to look forward to in the future.

Talk to you later....Mag

Hmmm, the fanny pack might not be a white elephant gift, but I am worried she might toss the Pooh Pen into the box. Poor Anna would be crushed! :-)
